Who invented the typewriter?
The typewriter is the invention of Christopher Latham Sholes. Latham was working as a mechanical engineer in the United States. He devised the former practical contemporary typewriter, which got exclusive rights in the year 1868. Sholes discovered this useful machine along with associates S. W. Soule and G. Glidden, which was fabricated (by Remington Arms Company) in the year 1873.
