Who invented the Home Computer?

The first home computer Altair 8800 was invented by Micro Instrumentation Telemetry Systems (MITS) of Albuquerque, NM. Home computers were a category of PCs making entry into the market in the year 1977, and turning increasingly popular during the eighties. They were commercialized to users as reasonably priced, accessible PCs and more competent as compared to video game consoles.
