There is some debate over who discovered the hearing aid. Lots of hearing aids’ models came into existence centuries before the modern hearing aids, which we have at the present time. But, the records showed that the initial battery powered hearing aid was the invention of Harvey Fletcher. Harvey discovered the device in the Bell Laboratories. It went on sale in the year 1932. Thomas Edison was one of the first customers.
